The sun’s been shining and there’s been a spring in our step this month. Now that we’ve had chance to cool off following the soaring temperatures, we’re here with another monthly update – giving you the lowdown on everything we’ve been working on this July, starting with...

New pricing, new cards and a brand new look

This month we’ve proudly introduced new pricing plans that give you generous fee-free allowances, so you can use your cash and your cards abroad without fees.

Whether you want to use Monese for free, or you have discovered the value of our Classic and Premium offerings, our new pricing plans are designed to be as flexible as you are.

You can use Monese for free using our new Simple plan – with a neat allowance of free ATM withdrawals, cash top-ups, and foreign currency card spend – or get even more with our Classic and Premium plans.

Each of our new pricing plans come with new cards! We wanted to go for something future-thinking and elegant, and we couldn’t be happier with the result – they are available now in beautiful combinations of sheer whites and subtly textured blues. Monese with the power of PayPal

You can now get all the freedom of Monese, with the added scale, speed and security of PayPal.

If you’re one of our customers in the UK, you will be able to link your Monese and PayPal accounts, to manage your PayPal balance and transactions in the Monese app – as well as seamlessly add your Monese card to your PayPal digital wallet to buy from, and send money to, PayPal’s 277 million customers and merchants around the world.

Apple Pay is here for more Monese customers

Apple Pay, which is transforming mobile payments with an easy, secure and private way to pay, is now available to Monese customers in more countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.

We’ve made over 100 other fixes and improvements this month, including:

• Giving you another quick and easy way to share your account details, by exporting them into PDF format
• Showing you our exchange rates up-front, in the Payments section
