1.5% Cashback Promotion for Monese Customers

  1. This promotion is open to all existing and new Monese customers with a residential address in the UK or EEA countries where Monese operates, excluding France, The Netherlands and Poland.

  2. This promotion is only applicable to GBP, EUR or RON denominated accounts.

  3. This promotion offers new customers, who sign up to Monese and deposit £250/€295/1400 lei on or before 31st July 2022, 1.5% cashback on card transactions made between 1st August 2022 - 31st December 2022.

  4. This promotion offers all existing customers who invite a friend to Monese using their Invite & Earn referral code on or before 31st July 2022 to get 1.5% cashback on card transactions made between 1st August 2022 - 31st December 2022, when their friend deposits £250/€295/1400 lei into their newly opened account.

  5. To be eligible for cashback, new customers (either you, or your friend(s) in the case of a referral) have to sign up to Monese and deposit £250/€295/1400 lei, on or before 31st July 2022. To sign up, your application file must be complete, compliant and accepted by Monese.

  6. The maximum total cashback is £30/€35/175 lei per customer, per month.

    6.1. Any card transactions made after the cashback total has reached £30/€35/175 lei per month will not be eligible for cashback.

  7. Cashback is only eligible in your primary account currency, including any joint account in that currency. For example if your primary currency account is GBP but you also hold a EUR account, you will only be eligible for cashback on your GBP account.

  8. Some payments are excluded from this promotion:

    8.1. Account and prepaid card funding

    8.2. Bail and bond payments

    8.3. Bank fees such as product fees, promotional merchandise, financial consultations and loan fees

    8.5. Cheques

    8.6. Cryptocurrencies

    8.7. Debt repayments

    8.8. Deposits

    8.9. Gambling transactions

    8.10. Money orders

    8.11. Money transfers

    8.12. MoneySend transactions

    8.13. Pawnbrokers

    8.14. Precious metals

    8.15. Savings bonds

    8.16. Securities — stocks, bonds, commodities and mutual funds

    8.17. Stamp and coin stores

    8.18. Travellers Cheques and foreign currency

  9. The money for each month will appear in your account by the end of the following month. For example the money for August would appear by the end of September.

  10. This promotion is in conjunction with the Monese Invite & Earn Program.

10.1. Existing customers who invite a friend to Monese using their Invite & Earn referral code, on or before 31st July 2022, will still receive the referral bonus in accordance with the Invite & Earn Program Terms & Conditions.

  1. We will cancel any monthly cashback due to you if:

    11.1. Your account is closed, either by you or us, within the monthly statement period;

    11.2. Bankruptcy proceedings are started against you; or

    11.3. We suspect that you have committed fraud on the account.

  2. We may change these terms, or end the promotion, at any time without notice.
