With Monese you can choose from three flexible plans depending on what you need. Here’s a quick rundown of each:
Our Simple plan is perfect for those in need of a mobile money account and a debit card, no matter if you’re a frequent traveller, online shopper or are just getting started. It comes with zero monthly fees and gives you a generous allowance to withdraw cash and spend in foreign currency for free.
We designed our Classic plan for those who intend on using Monese as their main account, regularly withdrawing money or spending more in foreign currencies. It costs £5.95 per month if your primary account is in GBP (and €5.95 if it's in EUR, or RON 24.95 if it's in RON). But if you choose to pay annually, this goes down as follows:
- GBP: around £4.16 per month (£49.95 per year)
- EUR: around €4.16 per month (€49.95 per year)
- RON: around RON 17.16 per month (RON 205.95 per year)
Our Premium account is the ultimate Monese account if you plan on using a lot of cash, spend a lot in foreign currencies or regularly send money abroad, and want to avoid paying any extra fees. It costs £14.95 per month if your primary account is in GBP (€14.95 if it’s in EUR and RON 69,95 if it’s in RON). But if you choose to pay annually, this goes down to:
- GBP: around £10.41 per month (£124.95 per year)
- EUR: around €10.41 per month (€124.95 per year)
- RON: around RON 48.83 per month (RON 585.95 per year)
Pay annually for Classic and Premium
Signing up for an annual plan with Monese is easy. You can save up to 30% with a yearly subscription than with a monthly plan. Here’s how to subscribe:
- Open the Monese app.
- Open the sidebar menu and go to ‘My Plans’.
- Choose your plan (Classic or Premium).
- Make sure you have enough in your account.
- Choose to pay annually.
And that’s it! You’ll have 14 days to change your mind and get a full refund by contacting our Support team. If you haven’t joined Monese yet but would love to give it a go, you’ll see the option to sign up for an annual subscription during registration.
