It’s simple: sign up or upgrade to any one of our paid plans right in your app, and your insurance is automatically built-in! No need to apply, fill out any long paperwork or manage policy documentation via email or post to start your insurance cover.
What’s covered in my Bills Protection and Purchase Protection insurance? Get covered for things like insurance premiums, rent and utilities, nursing fees, personal purchases and more with our Bills Protection and Purchase protection insurance on UK paid plans.
On our Classic plan, Bills Protection will cover you for a maximum of up to £1,200 for bills like school fees, streaming services and bills in hospital stays of up to 30 days (£30 per day). You also get shopping protection, which includes insurance for goods purchased with your Monese card, including electronic devices such as smartphones, in case of theft or accidental damage. Here are the main benefits of our insurance protection on the Classic plan:

Our Premium plan offers our greatest coverage with even larger claim allowances for both bills and expense protection so you’re as safe as can be. With Premium, you get up to a maximum of £1,800 to cover bills like gym fees, music classes, groceries and bills in hospital stays for up to 30 days (£50 per day). And of course, items insurance for things like mobile devices, laptops, tablets and brand new items for personal use. Here’s how much is covered:

How do I make an insurance claim?
At Monese, making a claim is simple and you can do it all straight from your phone in just a few taps:
Step 1: Open your Monese app and head to the Explore tab on the home screen.
Step 2: Tap on either Bills Protection or Purchase Protection under Insurance then hit ‘Start a claim’.
Step 3: Follow the steps to quickly complete your online form and submit your claim.
