Step-by-step

Indian-Rupee-Post With Monese, sending money to India in Indian rupees can be done in a matter of just a few taps on your phone. If you want to check the live rates, tap ‘Send money globally’ in the Pay section of your app and type in the amount you wish to send.

Here’s how to get started:

Step 1: Open the Monese app and choose Pay from the bottom menu.

Step 2: Create a new payee (you’ll need the recipient’s full name, their address and bank account details, including bank name and IFSC code).

Step 3: Choose the currency (in this case, Indian rupee) and type the amount of money you want to transfer.

That’s it! The recipient should see the money in their account within three business days but keep in mind this may also depend on the recipient bank’s processing times.

Making the most of Monese
