Your Autumn 2021 feature update 🍁

Lots of exciting changes have been taking place over the last months in your Monese app. From new personalisation options to insurance features in the UK, we’ve brought many useful new things to your app – we figured it was about time for a feature roundup! Read on for highlights of what we’ve been up to.

Insure the essentials with Bills and Purchase Protection

For our UK-based customers, all our paid plans, including the newly-introduced Essential plan, now come with Bills Protection. This will cover bill payments like golf club fees, hobby fees – even regular charity donations – among others, made from your Monese account in case you can’t work because you’re sick, lose your job or need to stay in hospital. It also comes with a hospital stay benefit of up to £50 per day on our Premium plan.

Premium and Classic plans also come with automatic, built-in Purchase Protection which covers you for a refund if something you buy gets damaged or stolen, giving you the shopping protection you need. 🛍

Use your app in dark mode

As one of the most requested features from you, dark mode was something we were excited to bring to your app back in August. Use your app in dark mode now by simply heading to your Settings and choose dark mode under ‘App appearance’ – perfect for you night owls and protecting your eyes! 👀

Customise your app icon

Give your app icon some flare by choosing from five brand-new app icons! From dark, gold to even a hologram version, change it up whenever you feel like under ‘App appearance’ in your Settings.

In case you missed it…

We’re now available on Huawei’s AppGallery with the features you know and love including Direct Debits and Recurring Payments, pots, virtual card and more. Search for Monese in the AppGallery today and use it in any one of the 14 languages we support!

• You can now invite and earn for friends who sign up and spend with Monese if you’re in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and UK
• Since April, we’ve also made 358 fixes and improvements to your app
